Laser Hair Removal – Pre-Treatment Guidelines (Simplified) To get the best results and protect your skin, please follow these steps before your appointment: Shave the area 24 hours before your session. A $10 fee may apply if not shaved. Why? The laser targets the hair follicle below the skin — not the hair above it. Avoid sun exposure and tanning (including spray tans) for 7 days. If sunburned or tanned, wait 2 weeks before treatment. Exfoliate to remove any leftover color. Come with clean skin. No lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup on the treatment area. You may be asked to cleanse your face on arrival. Avoid chemical peels or laser treatments on the area for 2 weeks before and after your session. Stop active skincare (like retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, hydroquinone) at least 7 days before treatment. Do not wax, tweeze, or use depilatory creams for at least 3 weeks prior. Only shaving is allowed. Medical clearance is required for any unusual moles or skin concerns in the treatment area.
Cancellation Policy
Lates, Cancellation and No- Show/ No Call Policy Lates There will be an 5 minute grace period for appointments before you are considered late. Later than 5 minutes will result in your appointment cancelled and a fee of $20.00 applied to future appointments. SM Body Care will try our best to accommodate you by scheduling a same-day appointment but this is not guaranteed. To schedule future appointments, the fee of $20 must be paid. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy To cancel or reschedule an appointment, SM Body Care requires a MINIMUM of 24 hours. All appointments MUST be cancelled by the client through our website. Appointments will be rescheduled once with the deposit or full amount paid previously if it was cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours. If the client does not cancel with a minimum of 24 hour notice, then the appointment if paid in full or deposit will not be honored. Cancelling and rescheduling appointments more than once will result in the deposit or appointment total to not be honored. All deposits are non-refundable and transferable once. Failure to abide by the following will result in a $20.00 fee plus half of the appointment total to book future appointments. No-Shows/ No-Emails No-Shows/ No- Emails will not be tolerated. SM Body Care will send out reminder emails but It is the client's responsibility to keep track of their appointments. In the event were the client is not sure, SM Body Care can always be contacted by email. Leave a detailed email and we will get back to you within 24 hours. There will be a fee of $50.00 that will be applied to your appointment for no-shows/ no-email. It MUST be paid in order to book future appointments.
